With only 27 lbs (for the 25″ version) or 33 lbs (for the 28″ version) it’s easy to transport so if you’re a mobile masseuse this is a very good pick. I’ll write a bit about the sizes a bit later in this massage table review.
You get great value for your money – for less than $200 you get a professional quality massage table with a very sturdy Northern hardwood frame. That’s why it can carry up to 500 pounds.
The height is adjustable – which is very important. As a massage therapist you know that the wrong height can cause strain and injury to your body because you’d have to excert energy in an unnatural manner. You can adjust the height of the Skyline massage table from 24″ to 34″ – a wide enough range for every masseurs needs.
It is cushioned with 2 inch thick Small Ceel foam pads and comes in navy blue upholstery.
The wooden is completely coated with DuraSeal Protection, so it will remain beautiful for a long time.
The Upholstery is CFC-free and oil- and waterproof. It’s very durable because of a strong denim-like reinforcement backing.
The Duo-Plane Hinges increase the strength at the center of the table.

If you have any experience with massage tables at all, you also know that the devil is in the details sometimes. Master Massage tables have many years of experience producing professional massage tables. It shows in small things like nylon leg brace buffers that keep the wooden legs from wobbling and scratching. So you will never have to worry about a wobbly table (which would also be very discomforting to your clients).

Now, when it comes to size, I’d suggest DEFINITELY go for the 28″ size – it’s just easier to turn around on the 28″ than the 25″ version. One of the most important things when doing bodywork from my experience is to have enough freedom to move. Even if you don’t plan on massaging big people go for the 28 inch size.

However, when you buy one I do NOT recommend you buy directly from the manufacturer – you can often find better deals when you buy your massage table on the Internet. Some sellers offer free shipping – but be sure to check out what it will really cost you in the end (price+shipping) and whether you get a new massage table that has a valid 5-year warranty or whether it’s a used one.
